Carol Louvet - Clinical Manager

Carol has worked at HNG Stress Project for over 25 years, she has a wealth of experience working in the Mental health field.

Carol has over 20 years experience as a qualified, integrative counsellor.
she is a registered member with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). Carol is also qualified clinical supervisor, executive coaching and organisational development.
She also trained in holistic therapies and alternative medicine.

She liaises with health professionals from GP’S and mental health teams to ensure our clients receive the highest quality care and therapeutic support.

Her responsibility is to ensure the smooth running of a low cost therapy service, this includes the development of wide variety well-being activities.
Our ethos is to offer a service that makes therapy available to as wide a range of people as possible in the local community. We work with a diverse range of experiences and mental health needs.
Her role includes managing a dedicated team of over 40 volunteer therapists, who she supports to gain skills and their professional development. Some therapists and counsellors on placements with us, go onto paid work once they are qualified.
Experienced and qualified therapists develop their practice and have the option to rent therapy rooms at the Stress Project .
