We're starting to get that Festive Feeling here at the Old Fire Station. We haven't quite got the lights and decorations out - but only because they're stored in a high cupboard and we need a long ladder and a head for heights to to bring them down!
We are in the middle of planning our annual Elders Christmas Lunch for 15th December, with a traditional turkey dinner on the menu. Our brilliant volunteers are once again beavering away on the menu and shopping, baking and christmas card making, and gathering donations for hampers and other prizes for our great Xmas raffle.
It's always a fun event so come along if you're 55 or over and tell your friends!
Tickets are £4.50 and available at the Old Fire Station reception desk.
